RE/MAX Elite Posts Record Sales of Over $1 Billion in 2006
(NASHVILLE, TN., Jan. 25, 2007) – Despite reports about slowing residential real estate sales during 2006, RE/MAX Elite posted a record sales performance of over $1 billion in 2006, the highest ever in company history.
Powered by an increase in home values and the merger of offices in Nashville (Perimeter Hill) and Nolensville into the company, RE/MAX Elite agents closed 4856 transaction sides totaling a closed residential sales volume of $1,056,201,822 – a sixteen percent (16%) increase in volume over 2005.
“Our agents are the most hard-working, dedicated professionals in Middle Tennessee,” Robb Campbell, President and CEO of RE/MAX Elite, stated. “This is a remarkable accomplishment for our team. Easily, we could say that our agents generate over $2.8 million in sales every day. But it’s not just about numbers; it’s about the long-term relationships that we are building with buyers and sellers in Middle Tennessee.”
Campbell and the RE/MAX Elite team are setting their sites on an even more successful 2007, with an emphasis on recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, client retention, and most important to Campbell, one hundred percent (100%) agent satisfaction. “We are going to focus on training and communication with our team of real estate professionals, providing them with the tools they need to promote themselves, their listings and their successes.
In a recent announcement, the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors reported an increase in closings of three percent through the same period last year, representing a new record for home sales in Greater Nashville during any one year.
Established in 1999, RE/MAX Elite (http://www.tnprop.com/) is a full service real estate firm serving Middle Tennessee with a network of over 360 agents and 10 offices. In 2006, RE/MAX Elite attained sales of over $1 billion with 4856 closed transaction sides.
